We were delighted to welcome all our new year 7 pupils to spend three transition days with us. The six year pupils enjoyed three busy days of exciting activities. So that no one gets lost in September, everyone joined in a challenging treasure hunt around the school. Science lessons were a real hit, as were the mini Olympics which proved a really good way to get to know pupils going Lynn Grove from other schools. Some year 7 pupils commented that they enjoyed meeting each other in the dedicated year 7 area at break and lunchtime. Year 9 pupils were excellent buddies for the new pupils showing them around and making them feel at home. Mrs Hirst, Progress Leader for year 7 was very pleased with how the days went. We are looking forward to seeing them at summer school and in September.
