Year 8 Boys’ Football Success

We are very happy to announce that on 8 May 2017 our year 8 boys’ football team has followed the example set by our year 10 team and won the U13 County Cup. In a hotly contested match against Framingham Earl at Bowthorpe FDC our team came out on top with a 4 – 3 win. In doing so they did ‘the treble’, which is winning District League, District Cup and now the County Cup.
Well done and a huge thank you to Mr Goddard, their manager, and everyone else who supported the boys on their way.

Weekend revision

With the exams coming ever closer our library will open during the next weekends from 10 – 2 for general revision and independent study. Year 11 pupils will get subject specific support lead by teachers such as:
– completing past papers / questions in timed conditions and get them marked and receive feedback
– going through with the teacher any areas of concern
– bringing practice answers to the session and get teacher feedback

Please see the grid below to find out what subjects are supported on what dates and what exams are on the following week. The sessions can also be found on our website calendar.

In addition our brilliant library team have opened a Year 11 Exam Survival Station upstairs in the library. Pupils can find everything they need to get organised with their revision there with past papers recommended by subject teachers, revision notes and exam revision timetable to keep the students on track.

All the exams are listed in our calendar.…/c…/public-examinations/
