STEM competition win

Bridge to success for pupils in Year 9 on 26 March 2018 in the first inter-schools construction challenge competition! Schools from across Norfolk and Suffolk took part in this joint venture organised by Nexus Engineering and supported by Morgan Sindall, Pleasurewood Hills, East Norfolk College and East Coast College.
Pupils were tasked with designing and building a bridge across the lake at Pleasurewood Hills, which had to support 2 people and they were given a motor with which to move parts of the bridge. All the year 9 pupils worked fantastically and came up with some amazingly inventive designs. One of the groups won the overall competition for their spinning design, and were awarded goodie bags and some tickets for Pleasurewood Hills! Thank you to Miss Rix for organising and everyone who supported the pupils today. Well done girls!
