On Wednesday, 18 July 2018 we welcomed back our group of Year 10 pupils returning from a wonderful trip to Pompeii, Sorrento, Vesuvius and Rome. What a great way to deepen one’s knowledge of history and geography. Thank you to Ms Crothers for being the trip leader and Mrs Wicks and Mr Rogers too. Mr Childs planned the trip – thank you to him too.
On Tuesday, 10 July Year 8 and Year 10 students worked together to have a fun-filled afternoon full of Science activities. Year 10 Science leaders have been mentoring Year 8 students to develop their interest and enjoyment of Science in preparation for their GCSEs. Great fun was had with hands-on experiments and some quite explosive demonstrations.
Our gardening club took part in the Royal Norfolk Show. This year’s theme was “From Plot to Plate”. All of our pupils worked really hard growing plants from seed, taking them home and nurturing them ready for the show.
Our display won the silver award which we were thrilled about. Thank you to everyone who supported the pupils throughout the gardening year. Next year we are going for gold!
