Results will be available for collection on Thursday 24 August from 10.00am – 12.00pm from the main hall at school. Pupils can enter the school from the front or rear gate and should go to the outside hall doors where you can enter the hall. Pupils are not required to wear school uniform and are welcome to bring parents / guardians.

Results will be in envelopes and can only be given to the named pupil. If we’ve had advance authorisation to give results to another person, they will need to bring photo identity on the day to confirm their identity and get the results.

Sports Day a great success

There is always a lot going on towards the end of the summer term, and this year was no different. One calendar item stands out though – Sports Day. Following on from the great day we had last year our PE department pulled out all the stops and organised a wonderful day of activities and fun for the whole school community. Even though the introduction of our new colleges was only days before it was wonderful to see how pupils and staff came together supporting each other and enjoying the day together with their fellow college members including our leavers who came in to help. The weather was perfect and rain held off until the last minute. A great big thank you to the PE staff for organising another successful Sports Day.

Ex Lynn Grover inspires pupils

It’s always nice for us to find out how ex Lynn Grovers are getting on once the have left. Lottie Gray, who we remember for her love of language and music, is building a career as a singer-songwriter whilst studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. She recently participated as a judge in a Trust Primary Poetry Prize competition after being in touch via our alumni network. It is lovely to see that Lottie wants to inspire young people and speaks positively to them about her education both at Woodlands and Lynn Grove.

Athletics success

On Wednesday, 21 June 2023, the great day had come. After months of training and individual year events the the District Athletics Championship Final was here. An like in the previous events it was the inspiring combination of great individual performances and excellent team spirit that buoyed everyone along and let them dig that little bit deeper. As a result the Lynn Grove athletics team took away first place with a significant lead of the runner-ups.

Congratulations from all at Lynn Grove to the students and the PE team along with everyone else who helped along the way.
