After the brilliant start of our Year 10 athletics team it was the turn of our Year 9, 8 and 7 teams over the past 2 weeks.
The Year 9s had their event on Thursday, 25 May 2023. They did incredibly well and overachieved across the whole event, finishing in a brilliant second place.
Year 8 went to face their opponents on a cold evening on 6 June 2023. They did very well with some outstanding individual performances and came third overall.
Finally, the Year 7 team were on this Thursday, 8 June 2023. Showing a lot of resilience they put in a huge performance and finished joined second.
Our PE staff would like to point out how proud they are of our pupils who worked together as teams incredibly well, always supporting each other and showing great spirit and determination. Some of them surprised themselves with what they were able to achieve and are now keen to get stuck in and work hard on their performances. There are 2 weeks left until this year’s Athletics finals on Wednesday, 21 June, and all the Lynn Grove teams are in a good place to do well on the day. Good luck to all!
Calling all pupils from the Lynn Grove Academy Class of 2024.
It is time to collect your GCSE Certificates. You will need these certificates in the future so be sure to come and collect them and keep them safe. You will be surprised how often you will be asked for them during your working life and it is a complicated and expensive process to get replacements.
Certificates will be available to collect on
Tuesday 3 December 15:30 – 17:00
If you cannot make these times, please make an appointment to collect them after this time by phoning Lynn Grove Academy.
Certificates cannot be given to anyone other than the person named on the certificate unless you have provided written authorisation for a responsible adult to collect on your behalf. They will need photo id to collect. In line with JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) rules, we can only keep certificates for one year after which they will be disposed of and you will need to approach exam boards for copies.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 3 December.
