Lynn Grove Sports Facilities for our Community

We have fantastic facilities available for use during the evenings, at weekends and throughout school holidays.

We offer our sports facilities for hire to local clubs and organisations, and groups of friends who want to be more active. The facilities are open all year round and are a base for numerous sporting clubs and groups. Block bookings and one-off bookings are welcome.

Adult and Youth football clubs, Norfolk County Football Association, Norwich City FC Community Sports Foundation, Active Norfolk, Norfolk United Netball Club, Stalham Artistic Skating Club, Great Yarmouth & Waveney Health Trusts ‘Active X’, Great Yarmouth Cricket Club, Belton Cricket Club and Gorleston Tennis Club all use our facilities.

Sports Hall
The sports hall was built in 2005 and has a hard tiled floor with markings for badminton (4 courts), basketball, netball, tennis and volleyball all included. Cricket nets are also available for use. Bookings are by the hour.

All Weather Pitch (See below Lettings Update)
A 3rd Generation full-sized football pitch was opened in 2008 and completely renewed in 2018; this excellent facility is used by teams for both training and matches. We offer the whole pitch or thirds of the pitch for hire. Mini soccer goals are provided when using a third of the pitch, with full-size goals provided for full pitch use. All goals are on wheels, making them movable by the hirer. Bookings, other than for matches, are by the hour.

Hard Court Arena
The school, with the assistance from Sport England’s ‘Inspired Facilities’ Grant scheme, has re-developed the hard court area. We offer floodlit handball, netball and tennis courts.

Sports Field
The field is available to book for adult and youth sporting events.
