Academy Uniform from September 2026

Essential Everyday Wear:

• Navy blazer with LGA logo only available from Harrisons Schoolwear shop.
• Pleated Navy skirt only available from Harrisons Schoolwear shop.  Girls can also wear plain navy trousers (no cords, jeans, canvas, or leggings) of an appropriate straight fit.
• Plain navy trousers (no cords, jeans, canvas, or leggings) of an appropriate straight fit.
• Belts, if worn with trousers, should be plain black. No wide, coloured, or ornate fashion belts should be worn.
• White shirt/blouse with a functioning top button that must be tucked into skirt or trousers.
• ‘V’ neck navy school jumper or cardigan with logo, only available from Harrisons Schoolwear Shop).  This is an optional item of uniform worn underneath the blazer jumper however, the school maintains a comfortable temperature throughout the year and most of our pupils are warm enough without one.
• Plain, low-heeled black leather or leather type shoes (not trainers, canvas, or plimsolls) that can be polished.  If boots are worn from home, pupils must change into shoes at school.  Shoes should be black soled, not open-toed, or backless; no fashion ankle straps and no coloured laces.  Slip-ons or mules are not acceptable for health and safety reasons.
• Plain black or flesh colour tights.
• School tie – (only available from Harrisons). 
• Outdoor coat to be worn over blazer.  No hoodies allowed.
• Black, grey, or white ankle socks only (boys and girls).

PE Kit:

• ¼ zip training top with LGA logo from Harrisons Schoolwear Shop.  Please note for September 2026 this is an optional item.  For September 2027 this will no longer be optional and will become part of the essential PE Kit at LGA.
• Black shorts or skorts.
• White polo shirt with logo from Harrisons Schoolwear Shop.
• Long black or white socks.
• Indoor sports trainers (non-marking).
• Studded boots.
• Shin pads.
• Gum shield.
• Plain black track top or plain fleece (optional)

Support with Uniform Costs

At Lynn Grove Academy we have two ways that we can support you with uniform.  If your child is in receipt of Pupil Premium you can apply for support with an LGA Blazer and Tie by completing our Uniform Support Form here.  If you have more than one child at LGA you will need to complete a separate form for each child.  We can only support one application for a Blazer and Tie per academic year per child.

Please note that the deadline for completion of the Uniform Support Form is 3 July 2026.  We are unable to accept applications beyond this date.  If you miss this deadline, please read the information below about our NEW2U Uniform Shop

NEW2U Event

NEW2U is a fantastic opportunity to refresh your child's wardrobe with well-kept, new to you school uniform at affordable prices.  Browse a wide selection of LGA branded uniform alongside plain shirts, all available to try on before being bought, to ensure the perfect fit.  This event is all about supporting our community, while promoting sustainability - giving pre-loved clothing a second life.  Every purchase makes a difference, with all proceeds going to Heart2Heart Norfolk to help fund public access defibrillators in the local community.  

The NEW2U event will be held at LGA in the Main Hall on Friday 7 August 2026 from 10am to 2pm. Please come through the carpark and enter through the Main Hall side doors, our volunteers will be ready to help with any questions.  Please note payment on the day is by card only, we are a cashless site.
