Congratulations to the class of 2022

The whole Lynn Grove community are celebrating the wonderful achievement of the class of 2022.  The pupils who have worked hard and shown determination have been rewarded with a set of results that give them the key to the next stage of their education.

Principal Alison Mobbs commented, ‘We are proud of the way the class of 22 has persevered in the face of the additional challenges presented by the pandemic.  My sense is that they have had to grow up fast and develop attributes that will prepare them very well for adult life.  Great academic results are an important part of the mix at LGA but discovering what you are good at through joining in with extracurricular activities is very important too.  A group of well-rounded and well-prepared pupils leave us with exciting futures ahead.’

A special mention for Emma who achieved 10 GCSEs at grade 9, a fantastic achievement that puts her up with the top candidates nationally.
Well done to Ruby who achieved 5 grade 9s and 4 grade 8s and a distinction star.  She is off to sixth form at Notre Dame in Norwich.
Ben smashed his targets achieving a clutch of grades 8 & 9.  Ben is on his way to take up a prestigious scholarship at Norwich School and we wish him well.
Martha, who throughout her time at LGA has made a significant contribution to the musical life of the school achieved 5 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s and a distinction starred in Music.
Katherine, a leading light in the schools combined cadet force, was delighted that all her grades were above grade 7 and included 8 grade 8s.
