Congratulations to Mrs Hodds and the Year 7 athletics team on their success at the Teatime Athletics event at the Wellesley Stadium last Thursday. Some great individual performances and a great team effort resulted in a LGA top spot finish.
Mrs Hodds’ hard work with all the athletics teams and her enthusiasm is mirrored in the students’ attitude and desire for success. Well done all.
Congratulations to Annabelle in Year 10 who has attended the Youth Sport Trust’s Active Girls Coaching Camp at Loughborough University 5th – 8th April. Annabelle was selected for this event after attending a series of local sports leadership workshops where her leadership qualities and positive outgoing personality shone through.
Well done the Year 7 boys’ football team who have just taken home the District Cup. On 4 April 2019 they beat Charter Academy 5-2 in an exciting match. What a great start to their Lynn Grove football career.
Thank you to all supporters, especially their manager Mr Goddard.
Year 10 girls impressed with their determination and sportswomanship at Wymondham College shortly before half-term when they took part in a Rugby Development Tournament. Mr Flack and Ms Preece were delighted with their performance and everyone had a really great time. They are all definitely up for more rugby – these girls can!
We’re very proud of our Athletics team who came fourth yesterday at the Norfolk School Games finals. Optimal conditions at UEA Sportspark and beautiful weather were a fitting background to another successful outing for our young athletes who showed great determination and excellent teamwork. Thank you to our dedicated staff who supported them along the way.
We’re very proud of our fabulous Athletics team who won the East Norfolk School Sport Partnership District Athletics competition at the Wellesley Stadium for the second year running. This great success is down to the hard work our pupils put in during their training sessions and the team effort on the day. A great thank you must go to our PE staff and all supporters that helped them along the way.
We are very happy to announce that on 8 May 2017 our year 8 boys’ football team has followed the example set by our year 10 team and won the U13 County Cup. In a hotly contested match against Framingham Earl at Bowthorpe FDC our team came out on top with a 4 – 3 win. In doing so they did ‘the treble’, which is winning District League, District Cup and now the County Cup.
Well done and a huge thank you to Mr Goddard, their manager, and everyone else who supported the boys on their way.
